Realme's first smartphone product, Realme 1 (Also Called As Oppo F7 Youth Globally), launched in India in May 2018. This model uses an 18:9 display with 6.0-inch FHD+ resolution and is equipped with a MTK Helio P60 chipset, a 13 megapixel rear camera, an 8 megapixel front camera for selfies, and a built-in 3410 mAh battery. Realme 1 was available in three storage configurations initially: with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage for ₹8,990 ($135), 4GB of ram and 64GB of storage for ₹10,990 ($152), and a version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage for ₹13,990 ($205). Realme 1 sold more than 400,000 units in the first 30 days on Amazon India exclusively. Realme 2 Realme 2 was unveiled on September 4, 2018. "Realme" first appeared in China in 2010 as "OPPO Real". It was a sub-brand of OPPO Electronics Corporation until its separation in 2018, when it became an independent company. On July 30, 2018, former vice president of OPPO and head of OPPO's overseas business department Bingzhong Li (Sky Li) announced his official resignation from OPPO and his intention to establish Realme as an independent brand on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. He said that this initiative was focused on providing mobile phones that combine high performance and stylish design. Realme launched its first product "Realme 1" in India in May 2018; the Indian market was the first step for Realme. As Realme targets the global market, it will continue to expand its reach geographically, with potential target markets in Southeast Asia, starting with Indonesia for its Southeast Asia debut.
